The Bileća region in Bosnia and Herzegovina is rapidly emerging as a key player in the country’s renewable energy sector, particularly in solar power. The area is set to host multiple significant projects, including the Bileća Solar 1 PV Project, a 140 MW plant expected to begin operations by 2028, and the 100 MW Bileća Solar PV Park 1, slated for completion by 2026. Additionally, Solar Agroland plans to build a 270 MW photovoltaic power plant by 2028, further enhancing the region’s renewable energy capacity. With favorable geographic and climatic conditions, Bileća is positioning itself as a renewable energy hub, contributing to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s shift towards cleaner energy sources.
