How it works
EKO Q takes irradiance measurement data and uses EKO’s deep knowledge of solar measurements combined with industry standards and best practices in the scientific community to create an actionable data quality report.

EKO Q carefully analyzes the pyranometer data for signs of common problems, such as data gaps, time misalignment, mistakes in sensor orientation and others. The issues detected are quantified and reported in an actionable manner.

EKO Q compares the measured irradiance with alternative irradiance data sources, such as reference sensors, leading clear sky models and satellite data. Discrepancies found are reported for further analysis.

EKO Q cross-compares data measured with multiple sensors on site. Agreement and disagreement of the data are summarised to assess performance of the whole fleet of sensors and derive the most representative datasets.
The analysis is fully automated, simple and intuitive to configure.
