MS-093 SD Sensor
- Unique Rotating Mirror Design
Overview
The MS-093 is a high-quality sunshine duration meter based on a unique measurement concept with a rotating mirror and broadband sensor designed to accurately measure broadband direct solar radiation.
Utilising a rotating mirror which reflects the direct beam onto a pyroelectric detector once per revolution, the MS-093 measures true direct broadband radiation.
The MS-093 is unique compared to other dedicated sunshine duration sensors commonly based on an indirect measurement principle using photodiodes with a limited spectral range and accuracy.
